Are you a proven leader in children’s residential care with a passion for quality, compliance, and service development? We’re seeking a Senior Manager to help shape the future of high-quality residential care across multiple homes in West Sussex.
This is a strategic and rewarding role, working alongside the Service Director to support and mentor Registered Managers, drive improvement, and oversee the successful opening of new homes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring services are consistently safe, nurturing, and compliant with all regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support, guidance and mentorship to Registered Managers across our homes in Haywards Heath, Chailey, and Worthing
- Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory readiness across services
- Assist in the development and registration of new children’s homes, ensuring high standards from day one
- Monitor and evaluate performance, supporting improvement plans where required
- Support strategic planning and service development across the region
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong track record of leadership in residential childcare settings
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and children’s home regulations
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- The ability to coach and develop others while maintaining a focus on quality and outcomes
- Experience in service development or opening new provisions is desirable
