Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our supportive team in Wolverhampton. You will play a key role in providing care, guidance, and stability to children and young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting young people with their daily routines, including education, leisure, and personal development.
- Building positive, trusting relationships and providing emotional support.
- Encouraging independence and life skills development.
- Managing challenging behaviours in a calm and consistent manner.
- Leading shifts and mentoring staff when required.
- Ensuring the home maintains high standards of care, safety, and safeguarding.
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and external agencies to deliver holistic care.

What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
- Resilience, patience, and a caring approach.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
