The Role:
Join our client’s team at a homely, Good Rated OFSTED residential home as a Deputy Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting young people aged 11-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As part of the team, your contribution will directly impact the lives of these individuals in a nurturing and empowering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Manager in daily operations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to our dedicated team.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support to the young residents.
- Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Maintain and develop the home’s Good OFSTED rating by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of individualised care plans.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting.
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven track record supporting young people with EBD.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attained Level 3 and willing to complete Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (Equivalent).
- Monday to Friday early shift pattern (however must be flexible in certain circumstances)
