Requirements:

• DipSW, CQSW, NVQ 3/4/5 in Working with Young People / Adult Management (or willingness to work towards).
• Proven senior-level experience in residential care for adults/young people.
• Strong practice skills in managing challenging behaviours.
• Solid knowledge of OFSTED standards, National Care Standards, Care Act and relevant regulations.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Confident working on own initiative and leading others.
• Ability to support and encourage professional growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Registered Manager across two services, ensuring high standards of care.
• Oversee staffing levels to meet individual needs.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the home’s Statement of Purpose.
• Lead on staff induction, supervision, appraisals and ongoing support.
• Ensure the service meets all regulatory standards and exceeds expectations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant environment.
• Work proactively with external bodies to drive continuous improvement.
