Average Annual Earnings: Up to £37,000+ (including sleep-ins)

Basic Salary: £32,178 + Sleep Payments

We’re recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a well-established 2-bed children’s residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a provider with a recent positive Ofsted outcome, supportive leadership, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

What’s on Offer?

  • Average annual earnings of up to £37,000+ with regular sleep-ins
  • All additional hours paid via timesheets (not salaried)

Shift Pattern

  • 2 on, 4 off rota
  • Day 1: 10:00am – 10:00pm, followed by a sleep-in
  • Day 2: 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • Followed by 4 days off
  • Approximately 173 hours per month

About the Home

This is a 2-bed children’s residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Due to one young person’s sleep disorder, dedicated waking night staff are in place, allowing the day team to focus on delivering consistent, high-quality care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in a children’s residential home
  • Experience supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Level 3/ 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager
  • Strong leadership skills and confidence leading shifts
  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
  • Full UK driving licence
