Job Description

The Role:

Join our client’s team as the Deputy Manager for a children’s residential home, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As part of the team, your contribution will directly impact the lives of these individuals in a nurturing and empowering environment.

Pay: Enjoy a salary of up to £39,000 (DOE) plus a wide range of inviting benefits

The Company:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in daily operations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to our dedicated team.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support to the young residents.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and develop the home’s Good OFSTED rating by adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of individualised care plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven track record supporting young people with EBD.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Attained or willing to pursue Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (Equivalent).
  • Flexibility to work in shift patterns.
