An Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Registered Manager

Search & Selection UK is delighted to be recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead an established 4-bed Children’s Residential Home in Bradford, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The home has recently achieved an Ofsted rating of Good in all areas and is looking for a dedicated, experienced and motivated Registered Manager to build on this success and maintain high standards of care.

With a current occupancy of two young people, this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate residential childcare professional to take on a leadership role within an established service.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the children’s home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will play a key role in maintaining the home’s positive Ofsted standards, providing effective leadership and ensuring a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for the young people in your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily management and operation of the 4-bed EBD children’s residential home.
• Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Provide effective leadership, guidance and support to the residential care team.
• Ensure the home continues to meet Ofsted requirements and expectations.
• Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Maintain a safe, stable and supportive residential environment.
• Support the ongoing development and quality of the service.

About You

We are looking for a confident and committed Registered Manager who understands the responsibilities involved in managing a children’s residential home.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be close to completing this qualification.
• Previous experience of Ofsted inspections within a children’s residential setting.
• A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, compliance and the responsibilities of a Registered Manager.
• Experience working within children’s residential care, ideally supporting young people with EBD.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Salary & Package

• Starting salary: £55,000 per annum.
• Up to £65,000 per annum for an exceptional candidate.
• Profit share opportunity available.
• Opportunity to lead an established children’s home with a recent Good Ofsted rating across all areas.
