We’re recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to oversee two 3-bed children’s homes supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
You’ll join an established provider whose existing services are all rated Good by Ofsted, with support from an outstanding, award-winning Responsible Individual.
Both homes are currently empty, with a staff team in place, giving you the opportunity to shape the services, carefully match referrals and build settled environments for young people. The Northampton home has been completely refurbished.
The role
- Lead both homes, keeping young people’s safety, wellbeing and progress at the centre of decisions.
- Support and develop staff teams, creating a positive and consistent care culture.
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, risk management and daily operations.
- Assess referrals and ensure placements are carefully matched.
- Build strong relationships with families, local authorities and other professionals.
- Maintain high standards and lead both homes through Ofsted inspections.
About you
- Experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted expectations, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- A track record of leading teams and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Confidence overseeing two homes and travelling between Northampton and Milton Keynes.
