Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our in-house team, making a real difference in the lives of children and young people. This is a full-time role, based in London, supporting children in residential care settings and helping them build safer, brighter futures.
You’ll play a central role in ensuring placements are safe, stable, and tailored to each child’s needs, while leading case management, developing risk and support plans, and collaborating closely with local authorities and statutory bodies. Building meaningful relationships with young people and advocating for their wellbeing and independence will be a key part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cases from referral to placement, ensuring each child’s safety and wellbeing.
- Develop, implement, and review risk and support plans.
- Work in partnership with local authorities, statutory services, and other professionals.
- Build positive, supportive relationships with young people to encourage growth and independence.
- Maintain high standards of professional documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on achieving positive outcomes.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with:
- A Social Work degree (or equivalent).
- Current Social Work registration (pending registration may be considered for an Assistant Social Worker role).
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for children in care.
