About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Children’s Home Quality Lead to oversee systems, compliance, and administrative quality across our residential children’s homes.
This is a key role ensuring that all homes are operating to the highest standards of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and internal process efficiency. You will act as the central point for systems oversight, supporting continuous improvement across the service.
The role is primarily office-based in Hove, with occasional visits to homes and the option for some home working.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain quality assurance systems across children’s homes
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and internal policies
- Audit records, systems, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Support managers in improving administrative processes and operational systems
- Monitor quality indicators and produce reports for senior leadership
- Identify areas for improvement and drive service development initiatives
- Visit homes periodically to support compliance and consistency
- Work collaboratively with managers and senior leadership teams
About You
You will have:
- Experience in children’s residential care or social care quality/compliance roles
- Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding frameworks
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident working with systems, audits, and reporting tools
- Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to improvement
