Dan Sanders
– Founder & Director
Dan has over 20 years’ experience in recruitment, specialising in children’s residential care, fostering, and social work recruitment across the UK. He began his career recruiting Social Workers for the public sector, managing a team of 10 consultants, before moving into Education recruitment and then focusing on Residential Childcare, Fostering, and Specialist Education services.
Dan works nationwide, supporting providers with senior management appointments, social worker roles, and family assessment positions. His sector expertise ensures organisations find qualified, experienced professionals who can deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
Izabella Stechman
– Founder & Director
Izzy brings over 10 years’ experience in children’s services recruitment, with a background in both agency and in-house recruitment for providers such as Hillcrest Children’s Services and Outcomes First Group. She also holds a First-Class degree in Marketing and previously worked as a Recruitment Marketing Manager for a large children’s services provider.
Izzy specialises in senior management recruitment for residential care and specialist education, and also recruits Teachers for SEN schools. She supports providers with digital recruitment campaigns, employer branding, and recruitment marketing strategies, helping services attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
Mahree Chivers
– Recruitment Specialist
Mahree is a dedicated recruitment specialist in children’s residential care with a strong background in education recruitment. Since joining Search & Selection UK, she has focused on sourcing and placing Residential Support Workers, Senior Residential Support Workers, and Deputy Managers.
Mahree’s expertise ensures that providers hire skilled, compassionate professionals who fit their organisational values and deliver high-quality care. She understands the demands of children’s residential services and is committed to helping services build strong, effective teams.
