Our client, a small yet dedicated independent provider with three homes across London and Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take the reins of their 4-bed EBD home in the Southall area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving improvements and achieving Good or better ratings from Ofsted.

The Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and a safe, nurturing environment for young people.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to implement and sustain positive changes and improvements.
  • Develop and lead your team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Create and deliver individualized care plans that support the safety, wellbeing, and personal growth of the young people.
  • Drive the home’s performance, achieving the highest possible standards of care and ensuring the best possible outcomes.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential care setting, ideally with EBD.
  • A strong track record of turning homes around and improving Ofsted ratings.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • A deep understanding of safeguarding, regulations, and best practices in children’s residential care.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A commitment to creating a positive,

therapeutic environment where young people can thrive and achieve their potential.
