Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Residential Team Leader to lead and inspire a team supporting children and young people who have faced significant challenges in their lives.

As a Residential Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care, ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people, and supporting their development. You’ll lead by example, offering guidance and support to staff, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment for the children in our client’s care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of residential support workers, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with regulations and care standards
• Provide hands-on support to children and young people, helping them to overcome trauma and achieve their goals
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure staff receive the appropriate training, support, and supervision
• Work closely with other professionals and families to ensure the best outcomes for young people

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Experience supporting children and young people in a residential setting
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Full UK driving license
• A strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people who have experienced trauma
