Golden Handshake Bonus: £1,500 (T&C Applies)

Monthly Attendance Bonus: £150PM (after probation) Hours (per month):

We are currently seeking a Children’s Residential Home Team Leader for our Children’s Home in Wakefield with great career development opportunities.

We are looking for Team Leaders who are qualified to level 3 in Children & Young People workforce, you will have an opportunity to enrol into our Accelerated Registered Manager Programme where you have a fantastic opportunity to become a Registered Manager in one of our homes within 18-24 months depending on individual progression.

The Role:

As a Team Leader, you will work closely with management, guiding and Therapeutic Support workers in their daily tasks to ensure the well-being of young people in our client’s care. You will be responsible for overseeing service delivery, ensuring compliance with procedures, and assisting with the administration of cases. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor staff, leading by example and promoting best practices.

Requirements:

  • Must have Level 3 in Residential in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • Experience leading a team shift for 12 months
  • Working with Children/Young people in a residential setting for at least 2 years
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their welfare.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
  • DOLS experience
  • Experience in trauma informed model of care
  • Knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements
  • Be confident and resilient
  • Computer literacy.
  • A driving licence.
